Solution
Connect the blue ray player to the TV with HDMI.
Connect the Bose speakers to the TV. If the TV has analog audio outputs or a headphone jack use those. If it only have optical audio out you will need a DAC like this one.

The aux input on the speakers would be used either way.

hello, and thanks for the advice but the link you sent me isn't working? I have no audio out from the tv and no hdmi from my computer? Should I get a new sound card?
