A ouple of months ago I bought a brand new Toshiba Satellite, that came with Windows 7 installed.
I tried to install linux on it, but have not been succesfull. Any ideas on what I can do??

Make a System Image and backup your files. Not because you're installing Linux, just because it's the smart thing to do.
Also make a System Repair Disc. At the Start Menu, type in system repair in the search bar at the bottom and choose the option in Programs section.

Then create a system partition and install Linux in the newly created partition and set up a dual boot optin.
