How to install my nikon coolpix

Hello,
When I plug my camera (Nikon Coolpix L120) my Compaq laptop doesn't seem to notice it. When I click on 'Scanners and Cameras' nothing comes up. It says maybe I should insert the disk to install, but I can't find it?
