How to link TV sound to 1990 Yamaha receiver?

I see audio out on the rear of the tv, but nt sure what the input is? my options are phono, CD (connected to my CD player), or video/Aux. Is it possible?

Anything is possible but if often takes more money. 😀

In your case however, AUX, if free (as in unused, not currently connected to anything), should do the trick.

All inputs on the receiver are the same except phono which is only used with a turntable for vinyl LP playback.
