I have a laptop with Geeksquad Protection on it, with accidental handling protection. (Obviously at Best Buy)

I can get store credit for the price of the product if it is unable to be repaired.

I was wondering if there was a way I could....make it irreparable? If possible...only appear irreparable.

I'd be pretty bummed out to break the damn thing and then try to return it and have issues or not able to get the money.

Sir, that is called Fraud in every civilized country on this planet.

I won't help you with that.

If you are not certain you want something, do not buy it. It is that simple.

to just get money since you wanted to buy something else? that would be fraud, which is illegal.

i'm sure best buy has fraud protection written in the fine print so likely even if you received compensation it would only be good towards the purchase of a new computer. at best it would be store credit.

irreparable is irreparable - there is no "seems irreparable" as the techs will know the difference if you try to pull the wool over their eyes.
