Question how to make photos show correctly on my pc from my phone

this may be in the wrong area but i have to start it some place. i sure hope you guys here can help figure this one out!!!

i have the samsung a51 phone and when i connect it to my pc with win11 now on it i see the a51 in explorer and click it and then on the right side of explorer i see sd card and internal. my photos are going to the sd card now. i click it and then dcim and then camera and my photos start showing up.

the issue is they show up as the oldest photos on the top and the new one at the bottom of that page. and they are small.

what i want is to have the last photo i take to be at the top and large photos so i can see them to pick what i want to copy to the pc.

does anyone know how to do that every time the phone gets connected to a pc? it seems win11 guys have no clue and howards if not much help so maybe someone here has figured this out.

if i go thru the sort order and the view and then unplug the phone and later plug it back in the orders stay the way i last had them but if i take a new photo all of the reverts back to oldest on top and small icons. even if i have to use a different camera app! now i use the oem app.

To keep your Samsung A51's photo settings on Windows 11, connect the phone, open the photo folder, set Large Icons, and sort by Date Modified, Then, go to View, Options and Apply to Folders.

In the Control Panel’s File Explorer Options, also check Remember each folder’s view settings. If these reset, try using the Windows Photos app.
