how to make the same channel play on two different tvs.

Basic analog cable I have two way spliter and wire connected to other tv.

Can you not just tune both TVs to the same channel?

If you have a splitter that should work unless it's bad or you are hooking things up wrong. Where is the splitter connected, before or after the cable box?
