How to put gateway netbook back to factory settings

my gateway is not coming on to the proper home page. it says that my windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM...... IT ALSO SAY THAT.....: YOU CAN ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THIS FILE BY STARTING WINDOW SETUP USING THE ORIGINAL SETUP CD-ROM. SELECT "R" AT VTHE FIRST SCREEN TO START REPAIR...... Please help me solve vthis issue 🙁

it does not have a disk drive. its the small netbook.
