How to Record the Screen Activity on a MacBook Pro

The easiest way to do this is by recording your activity on the MacBook Pro by recording the entire screen and its movements onto a video file. The video file can then be shared easily with anyone. This can be done by using the Quicktime Player app which is in-built into all MacBook Pro PCs. There are also a variety of features you can use in the app to make the video.
So follow the steps below to get the entire rundown of how to do this.

Step 1
Go to the applications list on your MacBook Pro and launch the 'Quicktime Player' application. You can also find it on the dock menu at the bottom of the screen.

Once open, go to the overhead menu and click on the ‘File’ tab.

In the file drop down menu click on the option titled ‘New Screen Recording’.

A small box will show up with a recorder button on it. Click the ‘Arrow’ next to the recorder button.

In this drop down menu you have the option to choose the various microphone options such as choosing the microphone you want to record with or leave out the sound recording side of the things altogether.

Once you have selected the right options, click on the ‘Record’ button.

Click on the screen once to record the entire screen or drag and draw a box to record only that part of the screen. Once done click on the stop button on the top right side of the overhead menu bar.
