Like the title says, there is a way to remove apps that won't uninstall.

In my experience it was a damaged LogMeIn Hamachi app. I tried everything from control panel, regedit, (almost tried cmd prompt) and most ideas failed. What's worse is that the file was in use and I couldn't trace it with my mediocre skills. Then it dawned on me....ANTI VIRUS software.

So a booted up Nortan AV, manually quarantined the guardian.exe of Hamachi and was able to delete it completely.

Anyways thought I would share this with others

Good thinking. You can also boot off a Linux Live disk and delete the file that way. Or try starting in Safe Mode so a lot of the startup files don't start. Revo Uninstaller also helps in some cases, if you deleted many things manually it may not work though.
