How to remove Folders from This PC Toolbar placed in Windows 8.1 Taskbar

Hi,
By adding 'This PC' toolbar in Windows 8.1 Taskbar it pins additional Folders like Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures etc. Is there any way to remove them?

If you want a specific folder pinned to the task bar, first unlock the task bar by right clicking on it and then click on unlock.

Again right click on the task bar and go to the toolbars option and select "New ToolBar".

In the new open window, create a new folder and rename it "New". Then keep the folder open.

Go to the folder you want to pin to the task bar. Then create a short cut for that folder.

Copy the short cut and paste it into the "New" folder which was created earlier.

Then click on okay.

This New folder will now be pinned to your task bar and you will be able to access this folder directly from Toolbar.

To remove this computer, just right click on it and select Unpin.

Hi,
By adding individual folders in that way it just a shortcut to that particular folder, which I don't want. I want to have the drive options when I right click on them and get drive status info by hovering over those icons.

You can make shortcuts of the drives and place then in that folder and it will work as well. You can access any drive or folder or application in your computer like this.
