How to Reset Your Roku Remote

The Roku remote is a brilliant device and you can do almost everything on your Roku device using it. But it can become irresponsive at times due to a failed connection or synchronization with your Roku device. This can be fixed by resetting your Roku remote, and you can do it by following these simple steps.

1.) Remove the Battery Lid and Batteries
Remove the rear battery lid on your remote and take out the batteries. The remote will be turned off. It is now ready to be reset and repaired.

2.) Power Down Roku
Remove the power plug from your Roku device, and wait for 5-10 seconds. This will allow Roku to power down completely.

3.) Plug in Roku
Now, plug your Roku device into the power outlet. The Roku home screen will appear on your TV display.

4.) Put Back Remote Batteries
Place the batteries back into the battery compartment. Your remote will now be powered.
