how to see the screen when it is broken through hdmi

before i used the computer with hdmi cable cuz my screen was broken.but now it is showing something which i dont know because of the broken screen....i dont know what it is showing.......what can i do to resolve this problem.....????is there any methods like any codes??????please help

Hi,

This happened to someone else before. Do open the laptop and disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the motherboard. Once disconnected your external monitor that uses HDMI will act as the default screen and you should be able to see everything on it even in BIOS.
