Skype, besides being a versatile chat messenger, allows you to transfer files to your friends either individually or to the entire group in a single go. Although file transfers that take place in Skype are comparatively slower than other methods, the file transfer option is still handy for those who want to share the images, important documents, etc. with their friends or business partners instantaneously.
In order to send files on Skype, you can simply select a contact from your Skype contact list, and pick the desired file to transfer to the selected contact.
Note: Since Skype also allows you to initiate text chat conversation while being on a voice or video call with the same (or different) person, you can easily transfer the files to any person even if you are engaged on a video or voice call on Skype.
