Solved! How to set up hard drive replacement correctly.

Replaced 250G hard drive in Toshiba L305 Laptop with a 500G. Clean install of Win7, and seems to run perfectly, except, it still is recognizing the old 250G hard drive. The BIOS does not seem to be editable to change the parameters. All appears to run well except I suspect the mistaken hard drive size will effect things in the bigger picture. Some Windows programs recognized the size of the new hard drive but other functions do not. Any suggestions.?

The 250G drive is no longer even in the machine?
...and the 500GB is showing 250GB in the BIOS?
I would reset the BIOS and try it again.
