How to tell if your graphics card has been mounted properly

So this thought came to my mind as I just had my cousin take apart and re assemble my PC . And I am afraid that he didn't insert my graphics card securely. So just a question I know it sounds dumb but: will there be any symptoms or occurring signs if your graphics card wasn't mounted securely in it's slot and then you turned on your computer later. Will it still run smoothly or will there be any glitches ?

your display will be affected
likely your screen would be blank
but if everything runs just fine than there's no problem

If your monitor works, he installed it correctly. If it doesnt, he messed it up.
