How to tell if your laptop screen is lcd or led

I have a toshiba laptop with a broken screen and I need to know if it's led or lcd,can you help me

the easiest way to find out is to google your make and model of the laptop + system specs in the search field

The screen is LCD on both "LCD" and "LED" screens, it is the backlight that is actually a LED on those screens.
