How to to fix a hp omnibook xe3l bios password

I have an old hp omnibook xe3l that starts to boot up then asks for password. it has only just started doing this, but i have two young children and maybe they have messed with it, not sure as they say they have not.

can anyone help please.

You can call HP and see if they'll let you send it in for them to clear the password (it will probably cost you money). I'm unsure of any other way to get rid of it.
