i am sorry there buddy there's nothing you can do this way. if you had the MAC address you can look for it when you're near it.

There's also a Lojack for lappies that will phone home the current IP address if stolen. IIRC newer versions will even secretly activate the webcam and take pictures of the heinous crook.

Of course, this doesn't help the OP find his stolen lappy, but might with the replacement..
