How to track a lost samsung galaxy prime :(

Hi.. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I lost my 2 week Samsung Galaxy Prime and i dont have those apps yet to completely track it and Im not sure as well how to.. Can I still track or in case that I really can't, is there a way for the phone to be completely locked so whoever has it, wont be able to use it. Don't know what to do.. PLease help.. Thanks
