With windows 7 you can just put both computers on the same homegroup and this will enable file sharing over the network.

With windows 7 you can just put both computers on the same homegroup and this will enable file sharing over the network.

+1 - you could share files via bluetooth if they both have an adapter or you could use a hosted file storage platform (Microsoft's SkyDrive, DropBox, Amazon's Cloud Drive, etc.) to put your photos on a hosted site and then pull them down from that site on the other computer. That would take a lot more time but it would give you a backup source for your photos
