The worst thing about smartphone is that the battery drains so fast. Additionally, if we turn on the cellular data on our phone then its battery drains faster than normal. If you enter an area with weak signal then you can ‘Turn off’ your cellular data to preserve phone’s battery power. Here’s the way to turn off the cellular data of your smartphone.

1. Go to ‘Settings’.

a. For iOS 6: Tap on ‘General > Network/Cellular’
b. For iOS 7: Tap on ‘Carrier’
3. Set the ‘Cellular Data’ option to OFF
For Android:
1. Go to ‘Settings’

a. For Android version 2.2 & 2.3: Tap on ‘Wireless & Network Settings’ > Mobile Networks.
b. For Android version 4 & higher: Tap on More > Mobile Networks/Mobile Data
3. Uncheck the check marked box beside the option ‘Use packet Data.’
For Windows phone:
1. Go to ‘Settings’ from the App list.
2. Tap on ‘Mobile Network’.
3. Tap on ‘Data connection’ to set it OFF.
