How to turn on sound for this Dell laptop Model XPS M1530

I turned off the sound to use better speakers, now i dont remember how to turn it back on.

I don't understand how you "turned off the sound" since your better (external??) speakers would not work if the sound was muted. Is there a speaker logo on the lower right of your screen?
