How to undelete files on android tablet

I accidentally deleted some files from my documents folder on my Samsung tablet. Is there any way to restore them?

You might be able to use your File Manager to find a folder named LOST.dir which is Android's equivalent to Windows' Recycle Bin. If you can't find the folder, go to the Play Store and download Root ile Manager. It should work without rooting the device but it gives you a deeper file search.
