Hi there!!
I'm stuck with Thief 3: Deadly Shadows...
In the Tutorial mission I have to unlock a door, but I'm stuck with it..
Do anyone have a guide for lockpicking in thief 3? Thank you!!

It's pretty simple, faster even than in the older games (well faster than
some evil FM authors would allow anyhow.)

..Go up to the door
..Left click to begin the lockpicking
..use either the mouse or the movement keys to make the right hand pick go
to one of the cardinal directions (nwse). Only a few locks ever need
diagonal picking and you can do that with the mouse.
..when the ring you're working on starts sliding and rattling then left
click with the mouse. You'll see it opens a notch on the right side to
show you your progress.
..once you do all the rings (3 on the practice door) the lock is picked.

Once you get used to using the direction keys, you can open most of them
in just a few seconds.

When you've got your pick in exactly the right position then Garrett's right
hand goes up high. At this point you can left click to get the notch in
position.

In addition, just pull the lever all the way around in a circle until
you find the sweet spot. Do not waste time trying to get the proper
elevation of the lever.

You can also just hold that position for a second and the notch will
slide over. It wasn't until halfway through the game that I learned
you could left-click to speed it up.
