How to use Windows hands-free speech recognition while laptop is hook up to TV via HDMI?
I still want the sound to come out of my TV.I tried plugging a headset with mic into audio Jack with no luck I even switched the sound settings to play through both but just got weird feedback with no mic response. I only need the mic to work.
I ordered a Bluetooth headset but I have a feeling I'm going to have same issue. This is what would be ideal. Maybe the question should be How to use a Bluetooth headset or mic with Windows speech recognition while laptop is hooked up via HDMI to TV?(sound coming out of TV)
I did think of one solution but it's not ideal I would have to get a 20 foot HDMI cable and keep the laptop right next to me as the only mic I can get to work is the one built in to the laptop. I don't want to have to keep a laptop next me where I'm sitting to give it voice command. Please help I have severe carpal tunnel and tennis elbow and clicking mouses and remote controls is driving me nuts.
