How to use headset at the same time as speakers

I just bought the new headset HyperX Cloud. Before my headset had a USB to connect to my pc so it was easy to configure what I want played from my speakers (Which use the regular jack) and my head set. For example, when playing games or listening to music etc, that would be played through my speakers. Where as my headset was only used to hear my friends through teamspeak.

So this new headset has the 2 mic jack and audio jack and it also came with an adapter which makes it into one jack. I also have a mic and audio port on the front of my computer and my speakers are taking the audio port in the back. I tried plugging the headset in everywhere but nothing really happened. Any ideas?

You should able to configure the settings you want using your sound card's audio configuration utility in Windows Control Panel (for example, Realtek HD Audio Manager if your PC uses a Realtek on-board audio chip).

I can't be more specific as it depends on your PC's audio adapter, but look in Windows Control Panel for it's configuration utility.
