Question How to use surround sound without optical audio

I had a sound bar attached via optical audio and it fell, tearing out the port from the television. Is there any way to make my surround sound system the primary audio source for all of my TV output (Xbox, DVD, etc.) without using the optical port? Or am I just out of luck?
TV is a Vizio E60-E3

Which sound bar is it?
depending on which connections it has you could try an audio extractor hdmi to optical out or connect the soundbar by bluetooth or directly by HDMI ARC
