How to Use the Roku Channel

Your Roku device gives you tonnes of content to watch. Lots of movies, shows, series and even Live streaming. The whole mix of content on your Roku device is categorized. Some are subscribed, some free, and some needs to rented. So, availing your favorite movie or series can be a dilemma at times. To give rest to that dilemma, Roku has it’s own channel called The Roku Channel. Here, there is a high chance that you will find your favorite TV show or movie for free. You just need to add the channel on the home screen. We tell you how.

Step 1
Go to ‘Streaming Channels’
From your Roku Home screen, directly scroll down the ‘Menu’ and go to ‘Streaming channels’. In here, you will find the list of Streaming channels and also a menu to the left side.

Step 2
Select ‘Top Free’
Once you have clicked ‘Streaming channels’, you will find a menu of options. Just scroll down to ‘Top Free’ and you will see lots of channel on the right-hand side.

Step 3
Navigate inside ‘Top Free’
The content you see inside the Top free is a tsunami of movies and show channels. Navigate in this using the arrow buttons on the Roku remote. You will find The Roku Channel within few clicks.

Step 4
Click on the Channel
When you find ‘The Roku Channel’, click on it.

Step 5
Select ‘Add Channel’
Press on ‘Add Channel’ once you find The Roku Channel.

Step 6
It will take few seconds to add the channel depending upon the strength of your connectivity. The channel will be added directly to the Home Screen.

Step 7
Go to ‘The Roku Channel’
Go back to the Home screen and click on the ‘Roku Channel’. From here, browse and watch your desire movie.
