Solved! How will the combo jack work?

I have a laptop with a combo jack, I ordered a non usb headset with mic/audio jacks, how will the combo jack be able to have the mic on and have sound going to the headphones at the same time? Which jack do I use to have sound in the headphones and also the mic? It hasn’t come yet, but it will arrive tomorrow
