HP 2000 with Windows 10

I bought an HP2000 laptop from a friend. I have since forgotten the password he told me. Im pretty sure he said he upgraded it to a windows 10 also. Is there a way to factory reset the laptop in order for me to create my own. Have no discs.

if still want windows 10 then download it from Microsoft as is free as long as your friend had upgraded to win 10.

BTW couldn't you just ask the friend the password, and then change it to something you prefer?
