Dell Inspiron intel® Core 2 Duo T6500 (2.00GHz)

On the front Inspiron stands out but I read in a forum on Dell website that Dell doesnot provide Windows XP drivers for this model and I intend on using XP.

Has anyone owned it and had any issues with it? Please fill me in with any info i might have missed.

Thanks.

You didn't say what GPU the HP had, but the Dell seems better.

And do yourself a favor and ditch XP. It's old and outdated. Get it with the copy of Vista and upgrade or wait a few months and get 7. Either is better than XP.

Thanks for your time mate. the GPU is "Mobile Intel® GMA X3100, up to 384 MB shared system memory"

So even graphically it is inferior.

I have one more question please, If I get the Inspiron 1440 with a Core Duo instead of Core 2 Duo would it still pass as a better option?

thanks once again.

I was expecting a better reply.

What I meant was what will be the difference in battery life and performance if I chose Inspiron 1440 with a core duo instead of core 2 duo?

thanks anyway for your time.
