Hp 6735s wont boot to bios and the charger light blinks about 10 times

hello,

i have a hp 6735 s....i turn the power on from battery or ac, doesnt matter....the power light comes on blue for about 10 seconds....whilst on the charger light blinks orange about 10 times...iv tried all the removal of hdd and ram etc and a master reset but no joy.....any ideas anyone?? would be much appreciated

I believe it is not normal for charger to blink, so my guess is your charger needs to get replaced. See if you have a friend with same charger and borrow it to try if your charger is bad or not

its the surround around the charging jack that blinks..........the charger works in another laptop fine......
