Programming yes, gaming no. That card would only be able to do most games on low.

you will need at least a 950m for medium settings gaming, 960 for anything beyond that

For good gaming laptop should look at msi, asus rog, or Lenovo y50.

Yeah for that purpose its good. Even it can run GTA V I guess. Although on low to mid settings.

Yes its an good laptop but go for hp 15 ab032tx its cheaper 50k all the specs are same just their is i5 than i7 ,which makes no difference if you want it as a student purpose ,who wants both games and study on the same laptop
