Folks Pavilion AIO wouldn't boot because of failing HDD. Pulled the HDD and cloned it to SSD on another machine using Aomei Backupper - seemed OK. Put SSD into Pavilion AIO and now get a message saying ' Management Platform (ME) in manufacturing mode’. I can get past this by pressing escape, but then all the options such as BIOS or boot order are password protected. Removing the CMOS battery doesn’t help. How do I get rid of the manufacturing mode please? I've tried Alt-F and Ctrl-F, but no joy. Thanks

you have to enter the BIOS to change thechange the boot other. The BIOS password is stored in CMOS memory. it is also probably written on the motherboard.

Or you can reset the password by contacting the vendor
