Solved! HP Charging Port. DV6-2066dx

Well i believe the charging port on my mothers laptop is broken due to the fact of it being yanked out repeatedly from being stepped on.


What i thought would have to have been soldered on to be repaired it does not. It is in fact a small connector that can be unplugged from the motherboard and removed from the case. My question is, where to i find this part? Only thing stamped on the connector is 99NIB, and Foxconn.

I Will try and get a picture but i can't find my camera right now.

Hi. I usually just order one from EBay ( have replaced many DV9 jacks and DV6 ) this is a good $10 one:

You just plug it in and your good to go!!!
