Hp dm1 ssd upgrade

Hi i just upgraded the hard drive on my brand new HP DM1-4200 laptop, but when i load up windows 7 (off my usb stick) in the usb 3.0 port, it keeps asking for drivers i don't have., and won't continue the install. does anyone know what's going on here? thanks

Does that laptop have a USB2.0 port? Win7 doesn't have built-in USB3.0 support (Win 8 will). Otherwise, you might have to try a DVD
