HP dv4 DVD Writer upgrade

Hi,
The DVD writer of my dv4 2103tu failed.Hence is it possible to upgrade to an internal DVD writer like this http://

yes that should be no issue.
Double check the height of the unit 7.5mm, 9mm, or 12mm. be sure you get a unit that is the right height the other dimensions should be standard.
typically you will remove the securing screw, pull out the old unit, remove the decorative facing off the old unit. affix the decorative facing to the new unit, insert new unit and secure with screw. that should be it.
if you have a tray load unit now get a tray load replacement and if it is a slot load unit get a slot load replacement or the facing on the unit will not match up
