HP DV6700 Mother board replacement with ACER ASPIRE

I have an ACER 5520 laptop and a HP Pavilion DV 6700 laptop. MY ACER motherboard has become faulty. I want to replace my HP DV6700 working motherboard with the faulty ACER ASPIRE 6700 motherboard. Are these two laptops compatible for this sort of exchange of motherboard. (Note: I have disassembled some laptops before, but I want to be sure before opening both these laptops)
