HP ENVY 15-as001nx vs Lonovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon

Hey guys, I was just wondering which of these two laptops I should go with. One is HP and the other is Lenovo i need it for development and designing

HP:
HP ENVY 15-as001nx, Laptop, Intel Core i7-6500U, Intel HD Graphics 520, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD, 15.6"

For what programs? Those two are more like fancy executive laptops rather than systems a designer would use. Both are fairly equal, and should run any program, just not very good for stuff like CAD other heavy 3D Modeling work.

I need to use to for development (BI+ETL+web designing ) and sometimes photoshop

For web sites and just coding, those are fine. Photoshop lighter use would also be fine for those.

The latest version of the X1 is pretty good, older ones had some issues. You can pick either of those, really depends on which one you like better for design. Lenovo in general is a more reliable brand if that would influence you at all.
