Question HP Envy 15t k100CTO screen bad

Just tried installing third new screen in my laptop. Bought the first 2 from Amazon and both were bad. Bought a third one and it gets a full display but the display is highly contrasted, way too bright to use. I also changed the LCD cable twice and the screen shows same results. The first two that I returned had correct brightness but where missing parts of display on sides of screen. This shows full screen but is far too bright. The laptop does not have a dedicated graphics card, Can the internal graphics on the mobo be bad? Is this screen defective too? I'm eady to throw it out the window as I have been playing with this for a month. Thanks

It sounds like the replacement displays you are getting are not the exact same part. The only way to get it to work correctly would be to have the new part be the exact same model, etc. as the old one.

If you are trying to use a different kind. Different brand, aftermarket, different resolution, etc., then I would suggest you stop and get the correct one.

Now if this is the correct one (same make and model) as the original, then there may well be something wrong with the display.
