Hi all, I have a some questions regarding the HP Envy 23. I have the model with the Core i7 3.1ghz and the nvidia geforce gt 540m. It runs games alright, but not the best, i only get about 20 - 30 fps on some games on medium (but i still get pretty reasonable fps on other games like cod and gmod). Would the reason for choppy framerates be because of the graphics card? Also, Is is possible to upgrade the graphics card with the all-in-one frame design? If this is not possible, would I be able to take the components out and put them in a case? Thanks :)

According to HP, your model is capable of replacing/upgrading the graphics card.

The graphics card you have is not a great performer for games which is why you are getting mediocre frame rates.
When looking for the graphics card, make sure you get the MXM graphics card for your AIO computer sine it uses the MXM slot and not the PCIe slots that regular desktops use.

You can find a bunch of MXM 3.0 graphics cards off of eBay but make sure you find one that is compatible with your system and the computer has enough power to adequately power it.
