hp laptop dv6000 not working

laptop's charger port dc jack has borken and i change new charger port before is working perfectly in battery power now is not working in battery and dc power do you want is problem,my laptop model is hp pavilio dv6000

Could be the motherboard or the power circuit again. Does it turn on at all? Does it work if you remove the battery and just use wall power?
