HP laptop not booting

doesnt let me into bios or do anything at all.
yes I already tried pulling out the cmos battery and putting it back in. no difference

any ideas?

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- If it will still not get pass the HP screen, remove the HDD off the laptop then see if it will get pass the HP logo.
- If the laptop will get pass the HP logo without the HDD that could only mean that the problem is the HDD itself.
- If the laptop will still get stuck on the HP logo without the HDD that means the motherboard is the problem since you've already remove the CMOS battery.

Im sorry but how could it be a hard drive problem if the laptop doesnt even let me into bios or respond to any keyboard actions?

I've experienced about 20 computers in my life with messed up HDD and the computer always lets me into bios, just doesnt enter the OS.
