Hi everyone,
I have an HP HDX18 1080EL laptop (the one larger than me 😛 ), with an 18.5V 6.5A power adapter.
Organized a party last night, using the laptop as an audio.video source, worked fine, but now I'm back home and when inserting the power adapter in the outlet, it started beeping with a ~2KHz sound every half a second. No output voltage or charging.
I think it may be a short-circuit on the wire, but not sure - has anyone else experienced this issue?
Cheers.

Not everyone who has an oscilloscope knows how to measure the conductor reflection distance.
