New to the mini 1000, running windows xp, cannot get the wifi light to change from amber to green (green meaning it is on). Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
If possible, I would recommend using another computer to install Wifi drivers onto a USB stick, then attempting to install them on the Windows XP computer.

To be perfectly honest, this might be the only software solution. Another way to fix the Wifi might be to open up the laptop and check that the Wifi card is plugged in all the way.

Good luck!
