Hey,

I am looking to buy a laptop for 3d modeling/animation (maxon cinema 4d) 2d animation and graphic design (adobe suite). I know that a desktop would be a better solution but I dont have a permanent workspace, so I need a laptop.

I was thinking HP omen 15-5210nv (i7-4720HQ/16GB RAM/512GB SSD/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960? 4GB/FHD). I've read that is a bit overprised due to the thin design but because I usually carry the laptop with me, weight plays an important role. I also read that due to the thin design it is gettin hot easily (during gaming but I guess the same would happened during rendering).

I recently found MacBook Pro MJLT2B/A (Core i7 2.5GHz, 16GB RAM/AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2GB/ 512GB SSD) on sale at the same price with the HP omen. I was not looking for a MacBook but I think this was a good offer.

What is the difference between the GPUs.

I'm a Windows user but I'm considering switching If this macbook worth it.

Which one would you recommend?
