The HP seems like the winner (pink color option aside) Is there any advantages the Dell is going to have over HP or vice versa. Is there any downside to the HP that I should keep looking for a better deal on the Dell?

Thanks

dell!

i recommended my brother in law a dell

if you want xps, why don't you get the 15 inch? it's cheaper and has better gpu

i have a hp myself with 7200go card nv. i can't download real drivers from nvidia because hp made this card. it doesn't even exist if you ask me.

i think dell is the way to go, and get a 9 cell batt!

No, that would be because NVidia doesn't officially support mobility cards, except for a select few from only a couple of companies. Otherwise it's the same with every laptop on the market. You can, however, find modified drivers from sites like www.laptopvideo2go.com.

The big difference between HP and Dell involves the warranty.
Dell has next day on-site service.
(Usually ends up 2 days. U call Day 1. Tech Gets Part Day 2. Tech Fixes your PC on the 3rd Day)

If your HP breaks, you call and then mail your a shipping package.
Then you ship your Laptop to them.
They fix it. (No guarenteed turn around)
Then they ship it to you.

So if the HP breaks, expect to be w/o a laptop for 3-4 weeks at least.
Dell - 2 days.

That is why I only buy Dells.

If you want a better Deal, forget XPS.
Look at the Studio 15 or something along those lines.
