Question HP Pavilion Dv7-4103sl not booting, all leds on the computer blinking.

Hello! I have a problem with my HP laptop from 2010. The laptop doesn't turn on but when I push the power button, all the LEDs on the laptop blink at about these intervals: 0.5sec on, 5sec off. And these blinks repeat until I hold the power button. The only exceptions are: the charging led stays amber permanently but after a blink has occured it briefly switches to white and then back to amber. When the LEDs blink the hard drive led blinks amber and from what I read on the internet, apparently HP's ProtectSmart is parking the hard drive. Please someone help!

P.S. don't advise me to buy a new laptop unless if the laptop is absolutely 100000% unfixable. Thanks!

Start checking out the parts, try different RAM, try another hard drive.

I tried that, still doesn't work. I tried swapping the ram, tried it without the ram, with another hard drive, without a hard drive, nothing. I think this might be a motherboard problem.
