HP Thin client won't turn on

I have a HP thin client, which doesn't want to do anyhing. The only thing it does (only one time) is that the power light flashes (flash-1 sec pause-flash and go on) It was previously owned by a company, but they gave it to me because it didn't have the performance needed to run their new program. Any idea why it isn't turning on? (The power adapter works, I verified that on another device)

If it a think client, it need to connect to a server to function. go to hp support site for the model, read the manual to see how to set one up with your server

Well, THAT is kinda useless... Stupid thin client.
(I don't even have a server btw)
